PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel bis(diarylamino)N-substituted pyrrole having enhanced stability as a material. SOLUTION: This bis(diarylamino)N-substituted pyrrole is represented by general formula (1), wherein n is 1, Ar<SB>1</SB>, Ar<SB>2</SB>, Ar<SB>3</SB>, and Ar<SB>4</SB>each independently represent an unsubstituted or substituted 6-30C aryl group, Ar<SB>1</SB>=Ar<SB>3</SB>and Ar<SB>2</SB>=Ar<SB>4</SB>, and at least one aryl group of Ar<SB>1</SB>-Ar<SB>4</SB>is a polycyclic aromatic group, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>each independently represent hydrogen, phenyl group or 1-20C alkyl group, R<SB>3</SB>represents an unsubstituted or substituted lower alkyl group, phenyl group or lower alkoxycarbonyl group.
