<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable area expansion of a high throughput broadband wireless environment by a simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In each of wireless communication devices A, B, a complex weight for making a diversity reception state to be best in every antenna groups of A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>, ..., A<SB>p</SB>is decided through bidirectional training signal transmission between the wireless communication devices A, B. The complex weight thus decided is set relating to a signal of each antenna of each of the antenna groups of A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>, ..., A<SB>p</SB>. MIMO wireless communication units A', B' each executes a space mapping process to a signal from each of the antenna groups of A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>, ..., A<SB>p</SB>using a MIMO technology.
