PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication module capable of reducing the capacity of a power supply which is to be connected to a communication path. SOLUTION: The power supply is connected to the communication path 50. A transmitting part 200 and a receiving part 210 are mutually connected in series on the communication path 50. The transmitting part 200 is connected to a DC current source 242. The receiving part 210 is connected to a DC current source 241. At least either of the DC current sources 241 or 242 is a power supply independent of the communication path 50. In other words, at least either of the transmitting part 200 or the receiving part 210 does not receives supply of power from current which flows in the communication path 50.
