摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical communication receiver capable of reducing circuit scale by eliminating the need for normalization processing for determining and dividing an amplitude of a complex signal when combining a plurality of delay detection outputs, adaptable to even a system such as APSK for mapping information data even to an amplitude component, and capable of reducing the circuit scale by using an adder in place of a number of multi-bit multipliers. SOLUTION: The optical communication receiver comprises a determination feedback-type multiple phase delay-detecting circuit including a normalization processor for determining and dividing an amplitude of output from an optical delay detector 1. The optical communication receiver further includes: an optical strength detector 101 for detecting a reception strength of a reception signal; a scalar value setter 103 for setting a scalar value from the output of the optical strength detector 101; and scalar value multipliers 104-106 each for multiplying the optical delay detection output by the scalar value so as to adjust a gain in combining the output of the optical delay detector 1, in place of the normalization processor.
