PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer type heating cooker securing latch engagement of a latch mechanism provided between a drawer body and a cooker body, suppressing leakage of electric waves from a gap between an opening/closing door and the cooker body and eliminating a dead space on the lateral face of the cooker body. SOLUTION: When the drawer body 2 is set in the storage position within a heating chamber, the opening/closing door 2a closes an opening leading to the heating chamber of the cooker body 1, and a latch head 5 arranged on the rear face of the opening/closing door 2a is made to enter into the cooker body 1 through a window formed in a front opening covered with the opening/closing door 2a and is engaged with a latch switch 7 provided on the back face side of the window. The latch switch 7 is turned on by the latch head 5, so as to enable irradiation of microwaves to inside of the heating chamber. When the opening/closing door 2a is opened, the latch head 5 is lifted, so as to turn off a main switch for heating of the cooker.
