PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of an image exhibiting excellent smear resistance and good toner replenishing properties even after continuing printing for a long period to maintain high-quality images in the image forming method, wherein an image is formed at a printing speed of 45 m/min or higher and a recording medium carrying toner fixed by heat pressure fixing is treated by a post-treatment machine such as a finisher. SOLUTION: The image forming method to form an image at a printing speed of 45 m/min or higher includes a process for post-treating the recording medium, to which toner is fixed by heat pressure fixing by the post-treatment machine. The toner consists of a toner mother particle and an external additive added to the toner mother particle externally. The toner mother particle contains a binder resin, a coloring agent, and 0.5-3.0 pts.wt. of a silicone oil for 100 pts.wt. of the binding resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
