The present invention relates to a method for forming an acoustic hole in a condenser microphone case and the condenser microphone case, which can increase reliability by preventing the inflow of foreign materials. The method of the present invention: cuts out a part of the bottom of a tube-shaped metal case having an opening on one side to mount a component for the microphone, and presses the cut part simultaneously to form an acoustic hole of a slit shapeat the cut part. The case of the present invention is manufactured by cutting part of the bottom of the metal case which has either a rectangular parallelepiped shape having an opening on one side or a tube shape and pressing the cut part simultaneously to form an acoustic hole of a slit shape at the cut part.
