METHOD AND BASE STATION FOR TRANSMITTING BROADCAST MULTICAST SERVICE CONTROL SIGNALING

A method and base station for transmitting broadcast multicast service control signaling are provided. Said method includes the following steps: a service base station in a cell which is in the overlapped coverage of more than one multimedia broadcast multicast service single frequency network MBSFN areas determines separately the multi-cell mode broadcast multicast service control signaling for each MBSFN area, and transmits the determined multi-cell mode broadcast multicast service control signaling. Said base station provides service for a cell which is in the overlapped coverage of more than one multimedia broadcast multicast service single frequency network MBSFN areas, and comprises a control signaling determination module and a control signaling transmission module. The method and base station of the present invention can avoid complicated processing on the edge of MBSFN areas, and be convenient for management of MBSFN area control signaling.
