PERSONALIZED RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM FOR E-COMMERCE SERVICE

PURPOSE: A personalized recommendation system for an e-commerce service is provided to calculate a potential grade for a product based on behavioral patterns of customers, thereby reflecting preference of the customers to recommend a product. CONSTITUTION: A database(120) captures behavior patterns of customers requesting a web page that an electronic commerce server provides. The database stores all kinds of product information provided from the web page to the customers. A product recommending module(130) analyzes the stored behavior patterns to search a group of customers who have a preference pattern similar to a target customer. The product recommending module writes a product list for the customers with the similar preference.
