PURPOSE: A vegetation mat for the slope face protection and the ecological restoration of river side with a corn fiber is provided to prevent the soil contamination, and to easily use the mat during a field execution. CONSTITUTION: A vegetation mat for the slope face protection and the ecological restoration of river side with a corn fiber comprises the following: a corn fiber nonwoven fabric(2) formed by laminating a first nonwoven fabric(2a) spread with seeds(12) and a second nonwoven fabric(2b); a jute net(4) attached on one side of the corn fiber nonwoven fabric; a mat body(6) covering the other side of the corn fiber nonwoven fabric; a geo-grid(8) covering the outside of the mat body; and a hexagonal net installed on the outside of the geo-grid.
