COMPOSITION FOR TREATING BURN COMPRISING KAEMPFEROL

PURPOSE: A composition containing kaempferol for healing burn is provided to suppress inflammation by TNF-alpha and to use in treating burn skin tissue. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating or preventing non-cytotoxic burn contains kaempferol as an active ingredient. The effective amount of kaempferol is 1-200 ug/kg weight. A method for isolating kaempferol comprises: a step of preparing plant extract containing kaempferol; a step of neutralizing and concentrating plant extract; and a step of purifying the extract. The purification is performed by recrystallization, precipitation, solvent partition, or chromatography.
