<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing apparatus, capable of outputting a voice guidance without interrupting the audio of contents. <P>SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing apparatus 1 includes a digital tuner 10 for receiving contents, a video control unit 16 for controlling video data, and an audio control unit 22 for controlling audio data. Furthermore, the recording and reproducing apparatus includes a guidance information storage unit 24 for storing guidance screen data for displaying contents of operation to be executed by the present apparatus, guidance voice data for outputting respective operation contents in voice and settings of whether to perform voice guidance. When the voice guidance is set to be performed, the guidance screen data are outputted together with the content video data by the video control unit 16, and the output volume of the content audio data is controlled so as to be lower than that of the guidance voice data by the audio control unit 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
