<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer capable of simply inputting data of label to be printed. <P>SOLUTION: The label printer 1A obtains a data file 41 for printing a label 2 and a conversion file 42 to be referred to when changing contents of the label 2 from a memory card 40. The name of display associated with specific information whose value is changeably set by the conversion file 42 is displayed on a display part 12.
