PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device in a simple construction for elongating an extension guide, and to provide an image forming device mounted therewith. SOLUTION: A manual feed tray (3) includes a cover member (50) for opening/closing the opening (44) of a front cover (5) via a turning shaft (55), a paper feed stand (60) slidable on the cover member for supporting paper on its turning shaft side, the extension guide (70) slidable on the cover member for supporting the paper on the opposite side to the turning shaft side, and a length-unchangeable protrusion connection belt (80) for connecting the paper feed stand to the extension guide. When the cover member is moved in the opening direction of the opening, the paper feed stand is moved in the approaching direction of the turning shaft while the extension guide is pulled up via a connection member and moved in the direction separating from the turning shaft.
