PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress wherein both bearing properties and cushioning properties are suitably achieved. SOLUTION: The mattress 1 is equipped with: a core material part 2; a surface layer part 3 that is formed on the outside of the core material 2 and is comprised of multiple nets 5 and at least one layer of a cushion layer 6 which are stacked alternately; and an outer cover 4 that surrounds the core material part 2 and the surface layer part 3; and is characterized in that the outer diameter of the strands 5a that form each net 5 is formed to become smaller as the distance from the core material part 2 increases.
