The invention relates to a facility for filtering saltwater including a perforated slab (6), defining: an upper chamber (10) housing a filtering material resting on said slab (6), and a lower chamber (11) for collecting the filtered water, characterised in that said slab (11) is made of fibrous concrete, optionally prestressed, said concrete having: a compressive strength of 50 to 250 MPa; a bending strength of 5 to 60 MPa; and a Young's modulus of 40 to 60 GPa.
