<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component using a low-loss ferrite which is sinterable at lower temperatures than the melting point of Ag, has a low loss at high frequencies of 2 MHz or more and suffers little variation of characteristics in a wide temperature range even under stress. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic component, the coil comprising an electrode including Ag is provided inside a laminated body with a plurality of ferrite layers. The ferrite layer includes, as minor components, 0.1-2 mass% Sn in terms of SnO<SB>2</SB>and 0.05-1.1 mass% Mn in terms of Mn<SB>3</SB>O<SB>4</SB>based on 100 mass% of the main component comprising 47.1-49.3 mol% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 20-26 mol% ZnO, 6-14 mol% CuO and the balance NiO. The electronic component is composed of such a low-loss ferrite having an average crystal grain size of 0.5-3 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
