<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of efficiently cooling a unit necessary for image formation, particularly a unit that includes toner therein or a unit in which positioning is expected to be deviated due to thermal expansion, without impairing arrangement position of the unit. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a first biasing means for performing the biasing, in a direction coinciding with a biasing direction in which an exposure means performs the positioning relative to an image carrier; a second biasing means performing biasing, in a direction coinciding with the biasing direction, in which a developing means performs the positioning relative to the image carrier; and a third biasing means performing the biasing, in the direction to the center axis of the image carrier via a cleaning means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
