<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp of a long life compared with conventional one, capable of restraining devitrification of an arc tube over a long period by regulating an oxygen amount in a discharge space, to provide a light source device of high reliability, and to provide a projector. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp 101 includes the arc tube 11 made of quartz glass and sealed with a luminous substance, and electrodes 12, 12 arranged in the inside of the arc tube 11 and containing tungsten as its main component, and electrodes 12, 12 contain at least one of oxygen getter materials which bind with oxygen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
