<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmitter for determining whether or not a distance between resonance coils is enough for efficient power transmission without providing an exclusive distance sensor for measuring the distance between the resonance coils. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact power transmitter includes a power feeding side facility 10 and a power reception side facility 20. The power feeding side facility 10 includes an AC power supply unit 11, a primary coil 12 to which an AC voltage is applied from the AC power supply unit 11, a primary side resonance coil 13, a controller 14, and a voltage sensor 15 for measuring a voltage of the primary coil 12. The power reception side facility 20 includes a secondary side resonance coil 21, a secondary coil 22, a charger 23 connected to the secondary coil 22, a secondary battery 24 connected to the charger 23, and a charging controller 25. The controller 14 calculates the distance between the primary side resonance coil 13 and the secondary side resonance coil 21 from a voltage measured by the voltage sensor 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
