PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device, and a wiper control method and a wiper control program, which smoothly transfer wiper operation when an operation mode is switched. SOLUTION: When the wiper receives an operation command to switch its operation mode by a wiper switch while being operated in any one of operation modes, a wiper motor is controlled to change a wiper moving speed from a moving speed corresponding to the operation mode before switching to a moving speed corresponding to an operation mode after switching during the time of executing a plurality of times of movement between the upper turn around position P1 and the lower turn around position P2 of the wiper.
