<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of carrying a screen and electronic equipment or a camera separately. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A housing 3 in which an imaging unit 26 for acquiring a subject image and a projector unit 28 for projecting the image to a projection surface are housed is provided with a detection means 102 for detecting whether the screen to be placed at a position separate from the housing 3 is housed in a housing chamber 100 in which the screen can be housed. When the camera 2 is set in an imaging mode, the image is prevented from being projected to the screen from a projector projection window 10, and when detecting that the screen is not housed, projection by the projector unit is allowed.
