PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collator wherein paper to be contained can be easily and adequately contained in a bundle of paper. SOLUTION: In the collator 10, a barcode reader 112 reads address information from an identification mark marked on paper stacked on a folded-paper feed tray 44, a collation control part controls the paper to be fed by a feed tray 40 so that the paper is fed from the feed tray associated with the bundle of paper to be created in a collation map, and a reject control part uses the read address information for performing the matching determination of whether the paper from which the address information is read is paper or not to be contained in the bundle of paper to be created. When the paper is not the paper to be contained in the bundle of paper, the reject control part carries to a reject tray 144 at least the paper started to be fed from the feed tray 40 during matching determination out of the other paper to be contained in the bundle of paper.
