PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil bearing test device with a fixed beam and a soil bearing test method using the device. SOLUTION: The soil bearing test device 3 with the fixed beam in a caisson work room includes a soil bearing loading device 2 having a bearing pressure plate 2b, a bearing pressure column 2a, a loading jack 2c, a flat plate 2h for loading, and a control box 2f. A base plate 1b in the fixed beam 1 having the base plate 1b including a plurality of pivoted beam members 1a and a displacement gauge 1h is mounted on the flat plate 2h for loading. The flat plate 2h for loading and the base plate 1b are integrated vertically and separately. In this soil bearing test method, a soil bearing test is performed while the base plate 1b is floated from the flat plate 2h for loading using the soil bearing test device 3 with the fixed beam.
