摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ancillary structure which is incidentally connected to a building unit constituting a unit building, which expands an internal space of the building unit, and which changes an appearance of the unit building. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The small-sized ancillary unit 10, which is connected to one elevation surface of the rectangular parallelepiped-shaped building unit constituting the unit building and which expands the internal space of the building unit, is constituted in a rectangular parallelepiped shape by including: four column materials 11; four lower beams 12, 12, 13 and 13 for horizontally connecting lower ends of the column materials together; and four upper beams 14, 14, 15 and 15 for horizontally connecting upper ends of the column materials together. The ancillary unit is connected and fixed to the two column materials 2 and 2 which constitute the one elevation surface of the building unit. The two opposed elevation surfaces of the rectangular parallelepiped-shaped are rigidly-joined surfaces 16 and 16 to which the two column materials 2 and 2, and the upper and lower beams 14 and 12 are rigidly joined; and the two column materials, and the upper and lower beams are connected to the two other opposed elevation surfaces via joint member by means of a bolt and a nut.
