<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation amount evaluation supporter, etc. for separating and quantitatively evaluating a bending component, a rotational component, and a strain component, constituting a deformation amount. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A controller 3 sets a shear center point of a cross-section of an evaluating object (S101). Then, the controller 3 sets the coordinates (Y, Z) of a pre-deformation calculation point and the coordinates (y, z) of a post-deformation calculation point corresponding to the pre-deformation calculation point in a coordinate system with the center point set at S101 taken its origin (S102). Then, with the coordinates (y, z) of the post-deformation calculation point defined as y=a<SB>1</SB>Y+b<SB>1</SB>Z+c<SB>1</SB>and z=a<SB>2</SB>Y+b<SB>2</SB>Z+c<SB>2</SB>, the controller 3 calculates coefficients a<SB>1</SB>, b<SB>1</SB>, c<SB>1</SB>, a<SB>2</SB>, b<SB>2</SB>and c<SB>2</SB>(S103). Then, the controller 3 calculates the quantitative values of the bending component, rotational component, and strain component (S104) using an expression showing that the coefficients a<SB>1</SB>, b<SB>1</SB>, a<SB>2</SB>and b<SB>2</SB>are equivalent to deformation gradient tensors, and outputs them (S105).
