Disclosed is an accelerator device of reduced size, wherein the signal indicating the angle of rotation is stabilised and the precision of the output is improved. An accelerator device for controlling the accelerator operation is provided with: a rotary body (4) that rotates with rotation of a grip (1); a magnet (5) that rotates with rotation of this rotary body (4); and angle of rotation detection means (6) for finding the angle of rotation of this magnet (5). Biasing means are also provided for restoring the grip (1) to the starting position thereof by biasing the rotary body (4). Also, a partition member (8) is provided that effects partitioning between the rotary body (4) and the angle of rotation detection means (6). The angle of rotation detection means (6) is fixed to the partition member (8) and the rotary body (4) is rotatably held. Also, biasing means (7) biases the rotary body (4) in the direction of rotation and biases the rotary body (4) towards the partition member (8). In this way, changes in position of the angle of rotation detection means (6) with respect to the magnet (5) can be prevented. |
