The method involves applying a metallic foil (118) i.e. platinum foil, on a carrier (126) for producing a resistance element (114). The metallic foil is structured, where layer thickness of the metallic foil is equal to 15 micrometers. The carrier comprises a ceramic solid electrolyte material and a ceramic insulating material. The resistance element is partially applied as a structured resistance element on the carrier. A structured adhesive layer is applied on the metallic foil and the carrier, before applying the metallic foil on the carrier.
