UNDERGROUND OUTER WALL STRUCTURE

An underground outer wall structure is provided with: a first steel sheet pile and a second steel sheet pile which are connected together at joint sections each provided to each side edge of each of the steel sheet piles and which are installed in the ground to separate the ground side and the basement space side from each other; a first upper fixed section provided to the first steel sheet pile; a first lower fixed section provided to the second steel sheet pile, at a position below the first upper fixed section; a first connecting member for connecting the first upper fixed section and the first lower fixed section together; a second lower fixed section provided to the first steel sheet pile; a second upper fixed section provided to the second steel sheet pile, at a position above the second lower fixed section; and a second connecting member for connecting the second lower fixed section and the second upper fixed section together.  Either the first connecting member and/or the second connecting member restrains relative movement between the first steel sheet pile and the second steel sheet pile in the direction of installation of the steel sheet piles in the ground.
