INTEGRATED BIO-CHIP AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE INTEGRATED BIO-CHIP

PURPOSE: An integrated bio-chip and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to effectively transfer only fluorescence to a sample detection unit and to improve sample detection performance. CONSTITUTION: An integrated bio-chip comprises: a sample detection unit(200) having a light receiving device for detecting fluorescence; and a light transmission part(100) which is prepared on the supper side of the sample detection unit. The light transmission part comprises: an excitation light absorption waveguide(120) which absorbs excited light and penetrate fluorescence emitted from the sample; and a light blocking unit(110) which blocks excited light and fluorescence. A method for manufacturing the integrated bio-chip comprises: a step of preparing a sample detection unit having at least one light receiving device for detecting fluorescence; a step of forming light transmission part having the light blocking unit; and a step of performing surface treatment of exposed area of the waveguide end to form the sample reaction unit.
