PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for a content information service in an Internet protocol television service system are provided to supply corresponding information in the middle without direct communication with a server of a contents provider, thereby rapidly providing a service. CONSTITUTION: A contents information registration and management unit(222) classifies content information. A contents information searching unit(221B) generates a query language for a storage search. The contents searching unit searches content from IPTV contents control and management information storage. The contents searching unit outputs best condition of IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) contents. The TV contents control and management information storage separately stores content information and location information. |
