An absorbent article provided with a wrapping sheet which the absorbent article after use can be easily wrapped with. An absorbent article (1) provided with a wrapping sheet which comprises both a vertically long absorbent article body (2) comprising a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber which is put between the top and back sheets and can hold a liquid and a vertically long wrapping sheet (3) put in such a way as to cover the back sheet of the absorbent article body (2) and which is so constituted that the article (1) can be folded up with the top sheet inside in a predetermined folding width (L1) in the lengthwise direction of the article body (2), wherein the a first label area (33) having a predetermined width is provided in one lengthwise end region of the wrapping sheet (3) and the width (L3) of the first label area (33) is smaller than that of the folding width (L1).
