<p>The apparatus i.e. portable telephone (1), has pivoting parts (2, 3) displaced manually with respect to one another between open and closed positions, and an electrical generator (23) for recharging a rechargeable battery (8). Each part has a keypad, a microphone and an electronic card (7) that are involved in normal operation of the apparatus. A transformation unit is constituted of a toothed wheel and inner gear teeth for transforming relative movements of the parts into drive movement of the generator. A speed-increasing gear (24) is arranged between the wheel and the generator.</p> |
