The case has a roller-type cover (6) for closing an access opening in a housing, and provided transverse to a longitudinal extension of the housing. A drive device is provided for operating the cover. The drive device has a shaft for receiving the cover and an associated drive (9). The shaft and the drive are designed independent of each other, and the drive acts on the shaft by an intermediary connecting device. The drive device is adjustable with respect to the housing. Shaft sections (8') are connected with each other by an intermediary coupling device (11).
