PURPOSE: A cold rolled steel sheet having excellent workability for deep drawing and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the ridging resistance and elongation ratio of a cold rolled steel sheet to be used as a side outer part of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A cold rolled steel sheet having excellent workability for deep drawing comprises C 0.0005~0.0035 weight%, Si 0.01~0.05 weight%, Mn 0.01~0.2 weight%, P 0.001~0.02 weight%, S 0.001~0.020 weight%, Sol. Al 0.02~0.05 weight%, N 0.004 weight% or less, one or both of Ti 0.005~0.007 weight% and Nb 0.001~0.02 weight%, and the rest Fe and inevitable impurities. The cold rolled steel sheet has a micro-structure including ferrite 90% or more in area, wherein the average particle diameter of ferrite is 5~15μm.
