The assembly (10) has a wear detection arrangement (44) comprising a detection element provided at a pressure plate. The detection element is brought into attachment to a blocking arrangement (42) fixed with respect to a housing arrangement (12) during occurrence of wear. The blocking arrangement has a blocking element fixed with respect to the housing arrangement, and an adjusting element (56) that cooperates with the blocking element for position adjustment of a blocking section of the blocking arrangement.
