<p>The support (100) has a ring shaped back rest (102) rotatably supported around a center. Radial sleeves (104, 106, 108) movable and arranged in the back rest for holding a workpiece (120) in center of the back rest. A measuring device determines a deflection of the workpiece opposite to the rotation axis. A lifting device (130) e.g. lifting wedge, vertically moves the back rest for compensation of the workpiece deflection. The sleeves comprises clamped pin that is axially and flexibly supported in a sleeve body for holding the workpiece. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing centrical support of workpieces.</p> |
