PURPOSE: A medium for cultivating pleurotus ostreatus using waste sludge of herbal extracts, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the production cost of the pleurotus ostreatus, and to improve the productivity and quality of the pleurotus ostreatus. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a medium for cultivating pleurotus ostreatus using waste sludge of herbal extracts comprises a step of mixing 10~15wt% of waste sludge of the herbal extracts herbal extracts with waste cotton, and fermenting. The herbal extracts contains 7.8~13.8wt% of ginseng, 7.8~13.8wt% of Atractylodes japonica, 7.8~13.8wt% of Poria cocos, 4.2~9.8wt% of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 7,8~13.8wt% of Rehmannia glutinosa, 7.8~13.9wt% of Paeonia lactiflora, 7.8~13.8wt% of Cnidium officinale, 7.8~13.8wt% of Angelica sinensis, 6.1~11.3wt% of Astragalus membranaceus, and 6.1~11.3wt% of Cinnamomum loureirii.
