The device has an in-the-ear shell (10) with a user-specific shape, and a faceplate (11) closing-off the shell. A hybrid circuit (15) is fastened to the faceplate by a support (16). The support is individually formed under consideration of the user-specific shape of the shell, and/or a position of the support on the faceplate is individually determined under consideration of the user-specific shape of the shell. The faceplate has a positioning element e.g. guide groove, next to which or by which the support is attached to the faceplate. The support is made of an elastic band. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a faceplate module for a hearing device to be worn in an auditory canal.
