An LED light assembly 10 comprises a plurality of LED printed circuit boards (PCB) 12, whereby each LED PCB 12 comprises at least one LED bulb 14 and electrical connector pads 26,48 configured at each opposite end of the boards, a two-component surface mount electrical connector 26,48 is configured to connect one end of a first LED PCB 12 to an end of a second said LED PCB 12 such that the first and second LED PCBs 12 are electrically connected end-to-end with no gap therebetween. Also disclosed is a light tube 80 that comprises at least one LED light assembly 10 and also disclosed is a light fixture comprising connector end caps 84 for mounting the light tube 80 in said light fixture. The electrical connectors 26,48 may comprise a plug and socket formation. |
