<p>A scrolling unit (20) scrolls the color light separated by a color splitter (15). A color selection element (32) converts the polarization direction of the separated light. An image synthesizer (35) with light valves (38,40), processes the light which is passed through the selection element and reflected in polarized light direction, with the image signal.
