<p>The invention relates to a non-linear optical frequency converter (52), comprising a first optically parametric oscillator (10), which has a frequency mixer device (18). In order to achieve a broad tuning range with high radiation quality, it is proposed that the first optically parametric oscillator (10) has a coupling device (24) and that a tunable radiation source (34) is provided for supplying tunable radiation (?mix), wherein said radiation can be coupled into the frequency mixer device (18) by way of the coupling device (24). Furthermore, a corresponding radiation generation method and advantageous applications, particularly in explosive detection, are described.</p> |
