<p>PURPOSE: An operation device and an operation control method thereof of an air conditioner for a vehicle are provided to reduce the size of a panel and a damper unit and to secure uniform operating feeling in executing temperature, mode, and blower controls. CONSTITUTION: An operation device of an air conditioner for a vehicle is composed of an operating panel(10) having a plurality of control units; a knob(20) having a switch(28) for selecting freely the control unit; a driving unit(30) connected with a rotary shaft for controlling a damper unit to turn the rotary shaft; a knob drive setting unit for detecting the rotation degree of the knob; and a rotary power reproducing drive unit(50) for rotating the driving unit according to a signal output from the knob drive setting unit. The control unit regulates temperature, mode, and blower modes by one knob by disposing a single display unit having the temperature, mode, and blower modes on the operating panel.</p> |
