The device (24) has a reflector (14) arranged adjacent to a solar panel (3) arranged in direct sunlight (11) such that the sunlight is reflected on an active surface of the panel at a rotating position. A controller (20) controls a actuator (19) depending on sun's altitude such that either the light that is reflected from the reflector to the active surface completely covers the active area in a supporting mode or no sunlight reflection from the reflector to the active area takes place in a passive mode if holohedral illumination of the active area is not possible. An independent claim is also included for a method for supporting generation of energy from sunlight by solar panels. |
