A pharmaceutical preparation including at least one selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI) or selective serotonin and noradrenaline re-uptake inhibitor (SSNRI) and a protein with a high tryptophan/LNAAs ratio, preferably ±-lactalbumin, is described; the preparation may consist of a pharmaceutical composition containing both of the active ingredients or of distinct dosage units separately containing the above-stated active ingredients and is used in the treatment of depressive pathologies.
