<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed reproduction with which smooth motion of even moving picture data of a moving picture encoding system using in-frame and inter-frame correlation can be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: The moving picture data are decoded by making a choice between a normal decoding means of performing decoding processing according to a normal moving picture encoding system and a simplified encoding means of performing simplified encoding processing of the moving picture encoding system according to a reproduction speed inputted to a reproduction speed input part 1 and the bit rate of the moving picture data. For example, when the reproduction speed is less than a specified threshold, a reconversion part 4, a filter processing part 7, and an inter-frame predictive image generation part 5 are selected as normal decoding means or when the reproduction speed is not less than the specified threshold, at least a simple reconversion part 11 for a low bit rate, at least a simple inter-frame predictive image generation part 12 for an intermediate bit rate, or at least a simple filter processing part 8 for a high bit rate is selected as the simple decoding means to perform decoding processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
