PURPOSE: A Sedum sarmentosum fraction with alcohol decomposition and hangover relief is provided to promote activities of ADH(alcohol dehydrogenase) and ALDH(Acetaldehyde dehydrogenase) with reduced liver damage. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing Sedum sarmentosum fraction comprises: a step of mixing Sedum sarmentosum with methanol or ethanol to obtain concentrate; a step of suspending with 1-5 times water; and a step of fractioning with hexane, ethylacetate, and butanol granually. A healthfood is manufactured by containing meat, sausage, bread, ice cream, soup and, ion beverage.
