In a space heater which has an air shaft 25 at the back of its casing 14 so that air drawn through the shaft by convection passes over a surface heated by the hot gases from a liquid fuel burner or burners 11 and is discharged at or near a front hot gas outlet 29, the air shaft 25 communicates with a space in the top of the heater casing above an upwardly inclined baffle 26 terminating short of the outlet 29. A baffle 33 projects rearwardly below the baffle 26. A liquid fuel chamber 16 is supported by a bracket with a foot-piece 23 at the back of the casing 14. The chamber 16 receives a removable fuel container 21. |
