PURPOSE: A SI22410 protein which is specifically expressed in a root of tomato is provided to specifically express foreign gene and to diagnose root specific gene. CONSTITUTION: A SI22410(Solanum lycopersicum 22410) protein comprises an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A gene encoding SI22410 comprises a base sequence of sequence number 1. A promoter of SI22410 gene which induces root-specific expression comprises a base sequence of sequence number 3. A recombinant vector comprises SI22410 gene, gene promoter, or SI22410 gene and promoter thereof. A microarray for diagnosing root specificity contains a SI22410 gene or an antibody to the protein.
