PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to improve sealing property between a cylinder block and a valve assembly because a valve assembly is attached to a cylinder block. CONSTITUTION: A compressor comprises a cylinder block(110), a front housing(120), a rear housing(130), a rotary shaft(140), a piston(115), and a valve assembly(153). The cylinder block comprises a center bore(111) and multiple cylinder bores(113). The rotary shaft is installed through a center bore and the crank-case(121) of the front housing and is coupled with a swash plate(148) located within the crank-case. The piston compresses refrigerant inside the cylinder bore. The valve assembly controls the flow of the refrigerant between an ejection room(131) and the cylinder bore.
